BayPark helps people find London bike parking bays near a destination. This notice explains the basic data used to run and improve the service.
When you first open BayPark, you can choose whether to allow optional analytics. The app works either way.
What BayPark collects
- Searches and places entered into BayPark so the app can find nearby parking bays.
- Anonymous, aggregated traffic and performance measurements through Cloudflare Web Analytics.
- If you choose analytics: basic usage events, such as page views, searches, selected routes, and map opens.
- If you choose analytics: device and browser information, approximate location from network data, and referral pages.
- If you choose analytics: session recordings through PostHog, which may show clicks, scrolling, taps, and typed searches.
What BayPark does not intentionally collect
- BayPark does not ask for an account, name, payment details, or profile.
- BayPark does not request precise live location permission in the web app.
- BayPark does not sell personal data.
Tools used
Cloudflare Web Analytics provides anonymous traffic and performance measurements without cookies. If you choose analytics, BayPark also uses Google Analytics and PostHog to understand whether the app works well, where people get stuck, and which features are useful. Google Places is used to improve destination search.
Feedback
If you report a wrong bay or contact BayPark, your email address and anything you include in the message will be used to understand and respond to the issue.
